A piece of filament is integrated directly into the hinge, eliminating the need for extra hardware. Fewer parts, fewer failure points, and easy repairs if it ever needs attention.
A tip on the battery clips. They slide in and out on purpose, so you can arrange them around whatever packs you fly. That also means they can sit a little loose at first. Once you land on a layout you like, one drop of super glue per clip locks it in for good. Just wait until you have settled on your configuration before you glue.
